The
2019 Greenfield Little League season kicks off on Saturday, May 4th,
with our "Parade of Teams." All teams participate in the parade through
Kulwicki Park as they march towards Diamond #3 for the Opening Day
Ceremonies, as well as our Field Dedication to Officer Matthew Rittner.
Above is the preliminary agenda for the day. It
contains a photo map of the parade route and staging area. Please plan
on having the players to the staging area beginning at 10:45 a.m. All
players should look for their team flag and report to that area. There
are multiple teams that participate in different divisions, so all
players and coaches should look for the team logo flag, not division
specific areas. This is always a fun time for the players. Parents,
please cheer on your children as they pass by and don't forget to pass
this on to grandparents, relatives and friends as the more the merrier!
The parade will kick-off at approximately 11:00 a.m. with the Milwaukee
Police Honor Guard leading the way, with Greenfield Police and Fire
Firefighters to be followed by other dignitaries and the teams!!!
Once
all the teams and honorary personnel have arrived on Diamond #3 we will
get our Opening Ceremonies started. Back for another year as “Master
of Ceremonies” is Paul Adamec with “On the Limiter Productions.” Please
be sure to make room for all, as the only people that will be on the
field will be the teams and anyone in the ceremonies.
Once the ceremony and Rittner Field Dedication is completed, we will have the FIRST PITCH and it is time to PLAY BALL!!
